The Veggie Grub Experience is providing you with information and resources on how to live your best vegan life. The concept was created by C.E.O. Cheff' Rootsie amidst chatting with tens of thousands of clients, who all have had similar complaints. She discovered a general consensus of there being an abundance of bland plant-based food with very little variety and decided to address it. Cheff' Rootsie became inspired to create hundreds of food and catering options, she created recipes, cooking classes, etc… The experience of access to a vast variety of delicious vegan food was just the first part of The Veggie Grub Experience. Her consumer interviews revealed that people are frustrated by their life experiences and activities that hardly ever includes health/wellness and vegan food. Cheff' Rootsie came up with the brilliant idea of creating a community that feeds as much needs as possible. Basically other component of The Veggie Grub Experience provides information and/or resources on how to live a healthy Plant-Based life from every aspect via it be our database of holistic doctors, lawyers and other vegan friendly professionals, books to read, shows to watch, functions to attend, clothing to buy, vacations to take, products to purchase, music to listen and so much more!

Veggie Grub was created by Executive Chef/Owner Cheff' Rootsie in the year 2000. Cheff’ Rootsie had previously been a food vendor during her meat consumption days. Once she transitioned to being vegan in 1998 she decided to showcase her vegan delights to friends and family.

The year 2000 to Current day 2024 Veggie Grub has expanded from being a one woman pioneer selling a few selections on a table during the late night hours on the streets of NYC to a multifaceted company.
